Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation and Review: Prepare a variety of tax returns, including 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040, 1041, 990, 706, state, gift, payroll, and sales tax returns. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely filing for our clients.
- Project Management: Manage multiple client assignments simultaneously, ensuring the success of each project. Utilize effective project management techniques to establish work schedules and meet deadlines.
- Customer Service: Identify client needs and opportunities to provide additional products or services, showcasing your ability to understand and meet client expectations.
- Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and transfer skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Technical Expertise: Deepen your knowledge and skills in the tax field, staying updated with the latest regulations and industry trends. Actively pursue self-development opportunities aligned with our competency model.
- Motivated Attitude: Maintain a motivated and empowered attitude, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting the firm's success.
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation.
- Solid technical knowledge and skills in tax preparation.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent project management abilities, ensuring efficient workflow and successful project completion.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective client communication and collaboration.
- Familiarity with public accounting firm products and services within the tax practice area and a general knowledge of other practice areas.
