We’re looking for an experienced Senior Taxation Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in handling complex tax issues, and focused on building strong, long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive tax planning and compliance services, including preparation and filing of income, sales, and other tax returns.
• Advise clients on the tax implications of business operations, restructuring, and transactions.
• Represent clients before tax authorities in audits, assessments, and other regulatory proceedings.
• Conduct in-depth research on relevant tax laws and ensure clients are updated and compliant with regulatory changes.
• Draft replies, appeals, and legal correspondences for submission to tax and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients through timely communication and reliable support.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support firm-wide objectives and maintain quality standards in client service.

Requirements

• Education: Preferably CA (Finalist). Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field only.
• Experience: Must have minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in taxation, preferably within a professional services firm.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Pakistani tax laws and regulations.
• Strong research, analytical, and drafting abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, IRIS FBR or related software.
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios efficiently.

Other Details

• Salary Range: Competitive based on experience and expertise.
• Working Days – Monday to Friday (Full Day), Saturday (Half Day).
• Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Block 06, P.E.C.H.S., Karachi
