ABOUT THE ROLE

A Senior Team Leader is required to oversee a cluster of Team Leaders managing last-mile delivery riders across the UAE. The person will be the link between front-line Team Leaders and the Operations Manager driving consistency across sites, coaching Team Leaders to hit their numbers, and stepping in on the issues that go beyond a single team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and mentor a cluster of approximately 6 Team Leaders across multiple dark store locations.
• Consolidate, analyze and review daily/weekly performance data across all managed teams (OPD, attendance, on-time delivery, failed deliveries).
• Conduct regular site visits across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi to support Team Leaders and riders on the field.
• Identify underperforming teams or individuals and put corrective action plans in place.
• Act as the senior escalation point for issues Team Leaders cannot resolve rider disputes, escalations, major fleet/bike issues.
• Coordinate with HR/Administration on Team Leader hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation and development plans.
• Ensure consistent implementation of safety protocols, uniform standards, and conduct guidelines across all teams.
• Support the Operations Manager with reporting, planning for new rider deployment waves, and resource allocation.
• Lead training refreshers and capability-building sessions for Team Leaders.

REQUIREMENTS

Education / Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in field operations management, including at least 1 year supervising team leads/supervisors (multi-site experience preferred).
• Proven track record as a Team Leader (or equivalent) within UAE last-mile delivery operations.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
