Job Purpose:
A Senior Technical Office Engineer is responsible for ensuring that project designs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with budget and timelines before and during construction.
Job Responsibilities:

Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents to ensure compliance with design and project specifications.

Coordinate with consultants and contractors on design modifications, technical clarifications, and updates.

Verify project BOQs, specifications, and contractual documents to support accurate execution.

Review and validate contractor`s payment certificates, variation orders and claims.

Monitor the impact of technical changes on project cost and schedule.

Prepare technical reports and submit regular updates to the owner`s management.

Attend coordination and progress meetings to represent the owner`s technical perspective.

Ensure that all construction works comply with quality standards and safety regulations.

Maintain proper documentation and archiving of all technical records related to the project.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering.

10 years of proven experience in technical office or project management, experience in Real Estate or Construction is a must.

Strong knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contracts (FIDIC is a plus).

Proficiency in engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera/MS project, MS office).

Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, material approvals, and site technical coordination.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with consultant and contractors.

Ability to prepare technical reports and present them effectively to management.

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
