A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The mission of the Google Distributed Cloud team is to create a supply chain as intelligent, scalable, and resilient as the cloud itself, connecting innovation to execution by building trusted global partnerships and accelerating the deployment of hardware that brings Google’s compute, Artificial Intelligence, and edge capabilities closer to every user, even in their own data centers and edge locations. This effort is supported by two critical roles: the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, who leads the sourcing and supplier strategy for Original Equipment Manufacturer hardware and system integration partners essential for scalable, secure deployments, and the Senior Demand Planner, OEM Hardware and System Integration, who develops and maintains accurate, statistically-driven demand forecasts for this complex portfolio. This planner ensures alignment within the Sales and Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning process and utilizes Multi-Echelon Planning principles to optimize inventory and service levels across the entire supply network.
