Senior Technical Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support the team in continuously improving Agile practices and delivery efficiency
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Own project plans and timelines, proactively monitoring progress and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
  • Track key milestones, identify risks or blockers early, and escalate with clear context and proposed options for resolution
  • Provide regular status updates, progress dashboards, and executive summaries to senior management and stakeholders
  • Schedule and lead periodic syncs or checkpoint meetings to align teams, flag risks, and maintain delivery transparency
  • Collaborate with technical leads and subject matter experts to manage backlog items, requirements, and priorities coming from multiple stakeholders
  • Ensure completed deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria at the end of each sprint or release
  • Support cross-functional coordination among development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives that enhance project cadence and predictability

Technical Competencies

  • Solid understanding of Agile and Lean delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Hands-on experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack
  • Exposure to software development lifecycles across backend, middleware, and front-end systems
  • Experience working with DevOps and infrastructure teams is a plus
  • Technical knowledge or familiarity with frameworks and tooling is an advantage, though not a strict requirement
