Senior Technical Project Manager & Scrum Master

Our Digital Capability team is seeking a continuous?improvement champion who can drive Agile practices, remove impediments, and enable high?performing teams to deliver customer?focused capabilities that power Fidelity’s technology platforms

The team builds systems to modernize Mainframe capabilities that support Fidelity’s large scale digital presence. You will help advise the team on Agile values, practices, and processes to ensure the team is fully functional, productive, and focused on sprint goals. Encourages Agile behaviors, reinforces practices, norms, ceremonies, and supports the overall team performance and efficiency. Analyzes JIRA/Kanban boards. Identifies team improvement opportunities and looks externally for best practices to support continuous improvement. Leads and coordinates logistics for Agile ceremonies and practice - backlog maintenance, sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospectives. Ensures all work is tracked in the backlog and accurately balanced across team members. Maintains and updates the team’s process metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear communications to partners.

Primary Responsibility:

  • 10 years+ of proven success in leading cross-functional teams, managing complex technology initiatives, and delivering scalable, high?quality products.
  • Manage Jira boards, maintain epics, stories, sprints, and track progress/blockers.
  • Coordinate delivery, run standups, scrum ceremonies, and cross?team communication.
  • Plans and coordinates schedules and resolves dependencies with internal and external teams, and providers.
  • Collaborates with technology and business partners to analyze product objectives, timelines, requirements, and the value they bring to internal and external customers.
  • Assists the development team with analyzing system design requirements.
  • Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new systems or modifies an existing system.
  • Consults with customers and other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues
  • - software system design or maintenance.
  • Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
