Senior Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
• Manage servers, networks, firewalls, backups, and security tools.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
• Troubleshoot escalated technical problems and implement long-term solutions.
• Support IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior IT support staff.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and providing timely solutions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
