Role Overview

The Senior Technical Writer will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality documentation for our enterprise security and identity management products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to create content that empowers users to deploy and use our products effectively.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while leveraging the latest documentation tools and technologies to drive efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and maintain clear, concise, and user-focused technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and online help systems.
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams to gather information and ensure documentation accurately reflects product capabilities and updates.
• Manage documentation workload, timelines, and priorities effectively across multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies that improve content creation, collaboration, and publishing efficiency.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
• Participate in documentation reviews, usability testing, and content improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall user experience by ensuring clarity, accessibility, and a cohesive content strategy.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably within a software or SaaS product environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple documentation projects and priorities efficiently.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation processes, tools, and content management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps product development environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly and translate them into clear, user-oriented content.
