Attend all electrical equipment breakdowns such as LV–MV motors, LV switchboards, MCCs, plant lighting, transformers, UPS, VFD, breakers, soft starters, etc.
Carry out planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance within the given time constraints to minimize production downtime.
Identify and report any abnormalities; repair and/or replace required parts, reassemble and test the equipment, and ensure the working area is clean afterward.
Technically assess the requirements of allocated jobs and select the necessary tools and equipment to complete the work.
Diagnose electrical breakdowns and failures effectively and troubleshoot plant and equipment electrical issues.
Use the computerized maintenance system (SAP) to order necessary spare parts from the warehouse and maintain records of all completed maintenance work.
Complete all maintenance work in accordance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements.
Monitor repeated breakdowns, perform RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis), and recommend or implement proper modifications to resolve recurring issues.
Provide on-the-job training to new craftsmen and contractors to equip them with the necessary skills for maintenance activities.
Actively contribute to improving EHS and plant/equipment performance by participating in 5S, Business Excellence, and Safety initiatives.
Lead the team for allocated tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Perform other related duties as required by the supervisor.
Provide guidance and technical expertise to other divisions when required.
