Job Description:
The Senior Technician/Mapper position performs work related to Right of Way Mapping, including determining existing Right of Way locations, creating an Existing Conditions Plan, drafting a plan of proposed acquisitions needed to complete Department projects, and writing legal descriptions related to those acquisitions.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
This position requires knowledge and skills in boundary surveying, mathematics, CADD plan development, and property research. This position also requires working with project managers, legal staff, surveyors, designers, and property appraisers to meet project schedules.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Eight (8) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and four (4) years of engineering experience -OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in engineering.
