Senior Technologist - Hematology

We require Senior Technologist - Hematology

Job Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Testing and Analysis

Responsible to analyze laboratory findings, conduct hematological analysis of blood and body fluids including CSF and special hematology tests, check the accuracy of results, and inform all abnormal results to the related doctor, consultant, or staff.

• Equipment Operation and Calibration

Calibrate and operate all instruments in the Hematology Lab, run quality controls on a daily basis, review LJ charts, run EQA samples and interpret results, perform monthly and weekly maintenance of analyzers as per Maintenance Procedures, and communicate with suppliers, Biomedical Department, and Engineers in case of any analyzer issue.

• Reporting and Documentation

Ensure issuance of reports, proper storage of abnormal samples, maintenance of data, and rejection or repetition of tests and samples as prescribed in SOPs.

• Inventory and Resource Management

Maintain daily consumption records, manage stock of kits and consumables, and prepare weekly and monthly indents for laboratory supplies.

• Supervision, Training, and Audit Responsibilities

Instruct and train juniors and trainees, prepare for audits, and ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and laboratory quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: BS-MLT/Biochemistry in related field.
• Experience: 05-08 years as Staff/Senior Technologist - Hematology (Required)
• Job Shift: Rotational (Morning, Evening & Night)
