Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Telecommunication Infrastructure Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and engineering of robust telecommunications infrastructure for large-scale projects, including fiber optic networks, cabling systems, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and public address systems.

• Develop detailed engineering design packages, including schematics, plans, cable routing diagrams, equipment specifications, and bills of materials.

• Serve as the primary technical lead, guiding junior engineers and designers while ensuring the technical accuracy and quality of all project deliverables.

• Manage the full project for the telecom scope, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to design, and construction support.

• Coordinate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including architects, civil and electrical engineers, clients, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.

• Ensure all designs comply with national and local codes, industry standards (e.g., BICSI, TIA/EIA), and project-specific requirements.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• +15 years experience in designing telecommunications infrastructure

• Deep technical knowledge of fiber optic network design, including link loss calculations, splicing, and termination.

• Proven expertise in designing and specifying voice, data, video, and security systems (LAN, WAN, CCTV, access control).

• Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D, for creating detailed layouts and schematics.

• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices from organizations like BICSI and the TIA/EIA.

• Exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead a design team and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification is highly preferred.

• Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, such as smart cities, airports, or rail systems.

• Familiarity with network design tools and simulation software.

• Familiar with local Saudi ICT codes and standards.
