As a Senior Training Consultant, you’ll be a catalyst for growth across our Commercial and Community Banking teams, empowering associates to show up with confidence, clarity, and capability.
Your Purpose
You’re a strategic partner, a learning architect, and a coach. You’ll collaborate with leaders across the business to design and deliver transformational learning experiences that drive performance, deepen expertise, and build a culture of excellence. Whether it’s onboarding new talent, launching new systems, or leveling up sales and credit skills, you’re the go-to guide for readiness and results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead with Insight: Partner with leaders in Commercial, Community Banking, Credit, and Risk to understand business strategy and identify capability gaps.

Design for Impact: Create engaging, learner-centered training experiences—both in-person and digital—that build knowledge and confidence in sales, credit, customer service, and systems.

Facilitate Growth: Deliver high-impact sessions and workshops, or coordinate with external vendors to bring best-in-class learning to our teams.

Coach for Success: Support new hires through onboarding and mentoring, ensuring they hit performance benchmarks and feel supported from day one.

Champion Change: Guide teams through transitions—new systems, acquisitions, reorganizations—with thoughtful implementation plans and readiness strategies.
Elevate Experience: Manage logistics with precision—from scheduling and materials to communications and feedback—so every learning moment feels intentional and seamless.
Stay Curious: Keep a pulse on industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously evolve our learning approach.

Knowledge & Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in Commercial or Business Banking, Credit Administration, or a related customer-facing role (or 10+ years with a high school diploma/GED).

Proven experience facilitating learning for adult audiences—whether in a classroom, on Zoom, or one-on-one.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you connect, inspire, and lead with authenticity.

Tech-savvy with tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Captivate, and other instructional design platforms.

A strategic mindset with project management chops—you see the big picture and sweat the details.

Self-starter energy—you take initiative, follow through, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
