Senior UI UX Designer (Banking)

Job description

Amaris Consulting is seeking an Experienced / Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team in Istanbul. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end design solutions, conducting user research and usability testing, and creating personas to ensure a seamless user experience. You will play a key role in shaping design strategies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and potentially taking on a leadership role within the design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver user-centered UI/UX solutions across digital platforms.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona creation.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to align design with business goals.

• Apply design thinking methodologies to complex business and product challenges.

• Contribute to or create design systems to ensure consistency across products.

• Provide feedback and mentorship within the design team when necessary.

• Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• 5–6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.

• Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.

• Experience in user research, usability testing, and persona development.

• Strong design thinking mindset and excellent communication skills.

• Previous experience in corporate or banking environments is preferred.

• Experience building or contributing to design systems is a strong plus.

• Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams is a plus.

• Leadership experience or strong leadership potential within a design team.
