Senior UI/UX Designer

ROLE

Vuly HQ is located at Austin, TX. Hybrid work options are available for candidates in the Austin area.

We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can balance creativity and functionality, delivering intuitive, user-friendly designs for our eCommerce websites and digital platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, marketers, and product managers to craft experiences that delight customers and drive results.

This role could suit either a mid or senior designer, with remuneration negotiated in line with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Principal Developer and CTO, the role entails:

• Design engaging, responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Translate business and user requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to optimize flows and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure designs align with brand identity and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with developers to implement designs accurately and efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, UI frameworks, and UX best practices.

SKILLS / ABILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in eCommerce or consumer products.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and outcomes.Knowledge of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility guidelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
• Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Background in consumer products, retail, or eCommerce.
