Senior UI/UX Designer

CEBS is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team for a European client in the music industry .

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end product design in Figma—from discovery research and user flows to pixel-perfect, dev-ready files.
• Evolve and maintain our design system , ensuring 1-to-1 parity between Figma components and Storybook.js in the front-end.
• Create intuitive, elegant user experiences for our web platform used by TV editors, film directors, advertising agencies, and other audio-visual professionals.
• Collaborate daily with Islamabad engineers (4 data scientists & ~12 backend developers) and Copenhagen-based Product Owners/content teams.
• Validate with data —run quick usability tests, analyse usage metrics, and iterate rapidly.
• Guard the brand so every screen, icon, and interaction reflects premium Scandinavian craft.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience delivering complex web applications.
• Proven mastery of user-centered design methodologies and usability best practices.
• Advanced Figma skills (components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping).
• Experience working with design systems and handing off to React/Storybook or similar front-end frameworks.
• Strong, clear English communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Comfort making data-informed decisions (user testing, analytics, A/B experiments).

Nice-to-Have

• Motion design skills; confident in After Effects for lightweight animations and micro-interactions.
• Visual conceptualisation —able to devise new template families and cohesive visual languages.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or Adobe XD .
• Experience designing social-media formats (Instagram carousels, LinkedIn ads, etc.).
• Background in media, broadcast, or creative-production tooling.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for smoother developer collaboration.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
