Senior UI/UX Developer (Contractual - Onsite)
Islamabad, Pakistan
- Review, debug, and repair existing UI/UX issues on PSW websites (mobile and desktop views)
- Improve website performance, load times, and responsiveness across all devices and browsers
- Develop and implement interactive and visually appealing UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content seamlessly
- Conduct UI/UX audits to identify usability and accessibility improvements
- Create intuitive, user-centered designs and wireframes to enhance user journeys
- Ensure brand consistency in typography, color schemes, and component styling
- Maintain, customize, and troubleshoot October CMS-based projects
- Implement design changes and content updates in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team
- Work closely with cross-functional departments for direction and requirements, and align with design, content, and backend technical teams for cohesive project execution

Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and propose creative solutions
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework for frontend-backend integration
- Hands-on experience with October CMS or similar CMS platforms
- Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other responsive frameworks
- Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Solid understanding of human-centered design principles
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into interactive design solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, Frontend Development, or Web Technologies will be an
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in UI/UX development and frontend optimization
- Demonstrated experience in website redesign and responsive design projects
- Previous work with October CMS and Laravel is highly preferred
