What Will You Contribute?

As a Senior UX Designer at Finastra, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the usability, accessibility, and overall quality of our digital interfaces. You will contribute by leading design initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving user-centred design practices to create exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • User-Centred Design: Lead the user-centred design process, conducting user research, creating user personas, and ensuring our products meet the needs and preferences of our target audience.

  • Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging user interactions, including wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, that enhance user satisfaction and usability.

  • Visual Design: Create visually appealing, consistent, and on-brand designs that elevate the overall look and feel of our digital products.

  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyse feedback, and iteratively improve our designs based on user insights.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure seamless integration of design concepts and user requirements.

  • Design Guidelines: Develop and maintain design guidelines and UI libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision).

  • In-depth knowledge of user-centred design principles and methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and usability best practices.

  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into design improvements.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

  • Experience with mobile and responsive design is a plus.

  • Familiarity with front-end development principles and capabilities is a plus.
