Job Title: Senior UX/CRO Specialist
FLSA Status: Exempt
Hours: Full-Time
About Hurrdat:
Hurrdat is one of a kind. A media, marketing, and entertainment agency.
We were founded in Lincoln, Nebraska as a small team of two in 2010, offering social media services to brands and athletes. After a decade of growth later we have grown to be a uniquely well-rounded marketing and advertising agency with in-house media, sports, entertainment, and film divisions.
Mergers and acquisitions over the years (with B2 Interactive, Disconnected Media, Digital Hero Films, Victory Fighting Championship, Hail Varsity, and Parkville Media) have grown our team to over 150 people.
We serve over 200 clients who collectively operate in 8 countries, including 43 states in the United States. Our clients range from local businesses just starting to build their brand and online presence to enterprise organizations.
About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior UX/CRO Specialist to be a conversion consultant for our diverse roster of high-profile clients. This specialist will be the strategic lead for user experience and conversion optimization across multiple client accounts, primarily focusing on large-scale, high-traffic websites characterized by complex user journeys and an extensive volume of content.
This role is critical to translating client business goals into measurable improvements. The specialist will approach UX as an integrated function—merging data-informed design with persuasive, conversion-driven messaging—to create optimal, results-oriented digital experiences.
The ideal candidate excels at tackling complex information architecture, managing optimization programs for multiple stakeholders, and demonstrating a deep understanding of how UX intersects with other critical channels, especially SEO and paid channels to drive client success.
This position must be in office in Omaha, NE.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Design & Strategy: Design, document, and iterate on user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for key page types (e.g., search results, location detail pages, conversion funnels).
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Identify, prioritize, and execute a continuous program of A/B and multivariate tests focused on improving key conversion metrics (e.g., lead submissions, calls, engagement).
Testing & Analysis: Own the end-to-end testing process, including hypothesis generation, experiment setup, statistical analysis, and clear communication of results and next steps.
Messaging & Content: Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure on-page messaging is clear, persuasive, and aligned with user intent and conversion goals.
User Research: Utilize both quantitative data (analytics, heatmaps, session recordings) and qualitative research (user interviews, surveys) to deeply understand user behavior and pain points across the platform.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of successful tests, design patterns, and UX best practices for the ILS.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A minimum of 5 years of direct professional experience in a UX, CRO, or Optimization-focused role, preferably working on large, high-traffic digital platforms.
Proven success in driving measurable improvements in conversion rates through testing and design iteration; candidates must present a portfolio and case studies showcasing this success.
Deep expertise in A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics).
A strong testing and scientific mindset with the ability to formulate clear hypotheses and draw statistically sound conclusions.
Proficiency in UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex optimization findings and UX rationale to diverse stakeholders.
Experience with the complexities of multi-location or high-volume content platforms (e.g., ILS, e-commerce, large-scale publisher sites) is a strong plus.
Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Work is normally performed in a typical office environment.
Will lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds using safe and proper lifting methods.
