Senior VAT Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and Intrastat reports.
  • VAT GL account reconciliations and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Maintain VAT registration records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data for VAT filings.
  • AP and AR vat advisory support for billing /invoice queries
  • Support VAT payment processing and compliance calendar tracking.
  • Master data teams with validation of customer and vendor vat Id's.
  • Learn and apply VAT rules across different EMEA countries.
  • Exposure to cross-border VAT issues and digital tax transformation projects.
  • Participate in system testing and updates related to VAT codes and logic.
  • Support VAT Manager in process improvement initiatives and automation projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in Accounting & Finance
  • 2-6 years of experience in tax, finance, or accounting.
  • Basic understanding of VAT principles (training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle) is desirable.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Open to learning and growing in a multinational environment.
