Job Description
Miral Destinations are seeking a visionary, analytical, and execution-focused Vice President of Strategy to lead the development and execution of enterprise-level strategies at Miral Destinations. This role will serve as the central strategic advisor to the executive leadership team, responsible for driving scorecard development, prioritizing and managing our investment portfolio, and ensuring return on investment across initiatives.
The VP of Strategy will also lead the development of board-level presentations and reporting, aligning business priorities across Miral Destinations, and working closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure strategies translate into measurable impact.
Job Role
Strategic Planning & Execution

Drive the annual and multi-year strategic planning process in collaboration with executive leadership.

Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives across business units.

Translate long-term vision into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones and KPIs
Scorecard Development & Performance Monitoring

Design and manage the enterprise scorecard to track strategic progress and business performance.

Collaborate with business leaders to ensure KPIs reflect real impact and drive accountability.

Present progress updates to the CEO and Board, translating data into insights.
Portfolio Management & Investment Prioritization

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the strategic investment portfolio—evaluate, prioritize, and monitor initiatives.

Lead return-on-investment analysis to ensure resources are aligned with value-generating opportunities.

Facilitate cross-functional governance forums to assess investment trade-offs.
Board-Level Engagement

Prepare all strategic presentations and reporting materials for the Board of Directors and key governance forums.

Ensure clear communication of performance, risk, and strategic alignment at the executive level.

Act as a key strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on matters of organizational direction.
Business Intelligence & Performance Reporting

Oversee the business intelligence function, delivering detailed reports on customer interactions, revenue performance, and concierge operational efficiency.

Develop data-driven strategies to enhance business performance.
Essential:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field is required.

MBA or Master’s degree in Strategy, Management, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.

12+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or a related field.

Proven experience in enterprise strategy design and execution, ideally within hospitality, experience-driven industries, or diversified services.

Strong track record in portfolio management, investment governance, and ROI analysis.

Experience preparing high-stakes presentations for Boards or C-level executives.

Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and influencing senior leaders.

Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.

Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.

Outstanding written and verbal communication.

Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence at the highest levels.

Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Desirable:

Certifications in strategy, portfolio management, or performance measurement, such as:

Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) or Strategic Planning Professional (SPP) – for scorecard and strategy execution.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP – especially useful for large-scale initiative management.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or similar – advantageous for ROI and investment analysis roles.

Consulting experience may substitute or complement formal certification.

Experience in theme park, tourism, and/or hospitality stragegy development and execution.
