Senior Video Editor

Role Summary:

Lead the short-form content production for the brand, specializing in creating high-retention videos for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok within the hair and beauty industry.

Note: This is a senior leadership role. You will be leading a specialized team that executes your vision under your direction.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee editing of short-form videos (Reels, Shorts) for maximum engagement.
• Maintain storytelling flow, pacing, and retention using strong visual and audio cues.
• Supervise junior editors and assign tasks like clipping, trimming, and subtitling.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters and creative directors to match video tone with message.
• Ensure all outputs align with brand aesthetics and visual consistency.
• Review analytics feedback to refine editing style for performance.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 5 years of editing experience with deep understanding of short-form psychology.
• Sharp sense of rhythm, retention, and storytelling.
• Strong creative judgment; able to simplify complex topics visually.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and grow a team.

Growth Path:

Leads the short-form editing division; manages assistant editors and works directly with the content head.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
