Job Title: Sr. Video Editor & Animator

Overview

The Sr. Video Editor & Animator plays a critical role in bringing Clean Harbors’ creative vision to life through compelling visual storytelling. This position is responsible for transforming raw footage and creative concepts into polished, professional, broadcast-quality videos that reflect the company’s brand excellence. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled visual craftsman with deep experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation, capable of delivering high-impact content across marketing, corporate, and digital channels.

This role requires both technical mastery and creative intuition, with the ability to collaborate closely with our marketing, design, and production teams to produce visually striking and emotionally engaging videos that align with strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit, assemble, and refine raw footage into high-quality, professional-grade video content that meets brand and project goals.
  • Interprets creative briefs, scripts, and outlines to shape cohesive, narrative-driven visual stories.
  • Design and integrate advanced motion graphics, title sequences, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Create and animate 2D/3D elements that elevate production value and reinforce brand identity.
  • Mix and master audio tracks, including dialogue, sound effects, and music selection, ensuring balanced and professional sound design.
  • Perform detailed color correction and grading to achieve consistent, cinematic visual quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Directors and Creative Leads to ensure final outputs align with creative vision and strategic intent.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining accuracy, quality, and timeliness in deliverables.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions quickly and effectively while upholding creative integrity.
  • Stay current on video trends, technologies, and production techniques to continuously raise creative standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Film Production, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in professional video editing, animation, and post-production for corporate, broadcast, or agency environments.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality, professional video content that demonstrates creative excellence and technical precision.
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro (15+ years preferred)
    • Adobe After Effects (10+ years preferred)
    • Cinema 4D or equivalent 3D software (preferred but not required)
    • Full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Media Encoder, etc.)
  • Experience managing media assets and workflows within Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Acquia, Magento, or Drupal.
  • Strong understanding of lighting, framing, motion, and sound principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to translate creative direction into visual execution.
  • A dynamic portfolio showcasing a range of professional, high-quality video and animation work is required.
