Senior Video Engineer / Production Lead (LIVE EVENT PRODUCTION)

Job Summary
Raise the Roof Entertainment is a corporate event production company specializing in high-level conferences, multi-service productions, and technically complex live events.

We are seeking a Senior Video Engineer / Production Lead who can operate at a high level in both field execution and pre-production collaboration. This is not an entry-level AV role. We are looking for someone who is confident leading video systems on corporate productions and comfortable contributing to planning and client communication.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Video Execution

• Serve as primary Video Engineer (V1) on corporate and conference productions
• Operate and program professional video switching systems
• Manage PTZ and broadcast camera systems
• Configure and operate LED processing systems, including Pixelhue processors
• Support media server workflows such as Resolume
• Lead video department load-in, show operation, and strike
• Coordinate with audio, lighting, staging, and venue teams
• Maintain professional client-facing presence on-site

Support Pre-Production & Show Readiness

When not in the field, you will:

• Participate in pre-production meetings
• Review and scrub equipment orders
• Assist with technical documentation and show preparation
• Verify signal flow and LED configurations before load-in
• Identify technical gaps prior to show site
• Contribute to planning workflow improvements

This role may carry assigned events from preparation through on-site execution depending on scope.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years live event production experience
• Strong corporate event background (conferences, general sessions, multi-room setups)
• Proficiency with professional video switching platforms
• Experience with LED processing workflows
• Working knowledge of Pixelhue processors preferred
• Familiarity with media servers such as Resolume preferred
• Ability to lead technical crews
• Strong understanding of signal flow and systems integration
• Comfortable interacting with clients in a professional corporate environment
• Organized, calm, and solution-oriented under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
