Senior Videographer/Video Manager

A Typical Work Week

This is a full-time, in-person role at our West Des Moines office. Remote work is not available.

Top 5 Responsibilities:

• Videography/Photography*
• Video/photo editing
• Create remarkable video assets and content
• Manage complex video projects
• Training with video team members

*Travel outside of the state as needed. Average travel days: 4 days/month traveling.

Other Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative directors and other team members on video/photo projects
• Create social media reels
• Create video storyboards
• Take initiative on projects to provide innovative solutions
• Edit footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Edit podcasts
• Research and select appropriate music for videos
• Select voice-over talent

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Digital Media Production, or related field
• Mac proficient
• Comfortable working with conservative Christian churches and non-profits
• Uses good judgment and works with integrity
• Works independently and quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly change from one project to another
• Adeptness with learning new apps and software
• Punctual and dependable
• Prior experience with and a strong portfolio of video and photo work
• Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Suite
• Superb visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and create novel solutions

Extra Skills:

Would be awesome, but not required.

• Previous agency experience
• Familiarity with Monday.com, Slack, and Basecamp.
