Senior VMware & Hardware Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of HPE Hardware and DELL Hardware servers, Blades and storage.
• Installation, and management VMware vSphere based infrastructures.
• Conducting performance analysis for both the ESX host and their guests in the areas of CPU, Memory and I/O utilization.
• Design/installation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure like VMware Horizon or Citrix
• Excellent knowledge about vCenter administration and management.
• Experience in Upgrade of ESX and Vcenter.
• Working experience building scalable, highly available, mission critical virtual infrastructures.
• Experience in implementing, and configuration of VMware networking (Standard and VDS switches).
• Experience or working knowledge of Disaster Recovery technologies like configuration and deployment of SRM.
• Effective decision making on provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware.
• Nutanix implementation and configuration experience will be an added value

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Computer Science related discipline.
• 4+ years doing virtualization/virtual system administration and Hardware support.
• Worked with high-uptime, business-critical systems
• Proven documentation skills.
• Very Good written/spoken English.
• Strong analytical / troubleshooting skills.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) preferred
• Certificates in HPE or Dell hardware is preferred
