About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Senior Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, has excellent communication skills, and can lead by example to ensure the highest standards of guest service. In this role, you will act as a key link between guests and the service team, ensuring smooth operations on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, ensuring a warm and professional welcome
• Present menus, take accurate orders, and offer recommendations when needed
• Supervise and guide junior waiters to ensure consistent service standards
• Ensure proper table settings, cleanliness, and readiness of the dining area
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle special requests, and resolve complaints promptly
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Handle billing procedures, process payments, and maintain accurate records
• Assist in training new service staff and support daily briefing sessions
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards at all times
• Promote menu items, special events, and upsell whenever appropriate

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or upscale restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards
• Excellent communication in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Customer-focused, well-groomed, and with a positive attitude
• Ability to lead by example and handle high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic billing procedures
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
