About the Client

Our client is an ambitious, growth-oriented consultancy based in Denmark. They work with international clients and place strong emphasis on clean design, strong branding, and conversion-focused digital experiences. They are looking for a senior Wix developer who can own their website end-to-end, combining technical excellence with a strong eye for design and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain websites using Wix Editor and Wix Studio
• Develop responsive, visually refined pages aligned with brand and design standards
• Implement advanced functionality using Velo by Wix (JavaScript) where required
• Collaborate on design decisions, ensuring strong UX, visual hierarchy, and consistency
• Apply CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) principles to improve user journeys, engagement, and lead generation
• Optimize website performance, SEO structure, and page load speed
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, forms, and automations
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Manage ongoing updates, improvements, and design iterations
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Maintain clean, reusable components and scalable site architecture
• Proactively suggest improvements to UX, performance, CRO, and development workflows

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing websites with Wix
• Strong expertise in Wix Studio, Velo by Wix, and advanced customizations
• Proven eye for design, with strong understanding of layout, typography, spacing, and visual balance
• Prior experience as a designer or design-led developer is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of CRO best practices, including landing page optimization and funnel performance
• Strong grasp of responsive design, UX/UI principles, and SEO fundamentals
• A systems thinker who proactively identifies opportunities to optimize structure and conversions
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Prior experience working with EU or international clients is a plus
• Sees themselves as a Wix specialist and wants to continue deepening expertise in the platform
