Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in custom WordPress theme and plugin development, a solid understanding of front-end technologies, and hands-on experience in website performance optimization. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-quality websites and web applications that meet performance and scalability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.

• Build custom themes and functionalities from scratch using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Optimize website performance for both desktop and mobile platforms.

• Integrate and manage third-party APIs to enhance site functionality.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.

• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless web experiences.

• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.

• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across multiple environments.

• Stay current with the latest WordPress updates, security practices, and development trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.

• Proven expertise in custom plugin and theme development.

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Good understanding of Git version control systems.

• Hands-on experience with API integration and third-party services.

• In-depth knowledge of website performance optimization (speed, SEO, caching, responsiveness).

• Understanding of WordPress architecture, security best practices, and debugging tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery.

• Familiarity with PHP frameworks and RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
