Senior WordPress Developer

We are urgently looking for a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our growing digital team at our Andheri Sakinaka office, Mumbai. We are seeking a hands-on WordPress professional with a strong portfolio, proven industry experience, and deep expertise in custom WordPress website design and development.

This is an on-site, full-time position, and immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites from scratch based on client and internal requirements
• Convert UI/UX designs into fully responsive WordPress websites
• Build and customize websites using Elementor (Elementor Pro preferred)
• Develop custom themes, layouts, and templates aligned with branding and performance goals
• Configure, customize, and manage WordPress plugins for functionality, security, and performance
• Ensure on-page SEO optimization including:
• SEO-friendly URLs
• Meta titles and descriptions
• Header structure (H1–H6)
• Image optimization and ALT tags
• Schema basics and page speed optimization
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Debug and resolve WordPress issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts
• Maintain website security, backups, and updates
• Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and content teams
• Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer
• Must have successfully completed at least 25 WordPress websites
• Strong expertise in WordPress CMS, including backend and frontend development
• Advanced experience with Elementor / Elementor Pro
• Hands-on experience with popular WordPress plugins (SEO, security, caching, forms, eCommerce, etc.)
• Complete and practical knowledge of On-Page SEO for WordPress
• Proficiency in:
• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript / jQuery
• PHP
• MySQL
• Strong understanding of custom WordPress theme development
• Experience in customizing plugins and themes
• Ability to independently handle end-to-end WordPress projects
• Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with WooCommerce development
• Knowledge of website performance optimization tools
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices
• Experience working in a digital agency environment

Candidates residing in or near Andheri, Sakinaka, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Jogeshwari, or nearby Mumbai suburbs will be preferred.
