Senoir Data Engineer (Enterprise Architecture & Data (EAD) (contract)

Job Summary:
Exceptional opportunity to work at the forefront of data engineering within a dynamic and evolving data ecosystem. You will play a critical role in supporting both new and existing systems by understanding complex project requirements and translating them into effective data solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Technology, and Analytics, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical landscape and ensuring seamless data integration across the enterprise. Your expertise will help drive strategic initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of data quality and system performance. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, strong technical acumen, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:

Understand project requirements to support new and existing systems within the data ecosystem
Organize necessary work, identify required data, and comprehend design and solution architectures
Analyze the nuances of enterprise data and existing technical landscape to understand implications for new project architectures and analytical reporting
Gain hands-on experience and alignment on information and artifacts with data and business teams in Martech
Monitor projects during implementation phase and communicate status, risks, and issues to senior leadership
Collaborate with internal partners across Business, Product, Technology, and Analytics functions
Provide support to internal data teams by understanding clearly defined work and proactively addressing risks and issues
Maintain open lines of communication and alignment across the broader data organization
Understand detailed requirements for new business projects and develop solutions to deliver on these initiatives

Skills:

Hands-on experience in data quality, ETL, and data maintenance
Proficiency in Talend, Glue, and Lambda
Expertise in CDW and RedShift, Snowflake, and similar platforms
Strong experience with cloud and hybrid environments and data platforms
Knowledge of AWS Amazon Web Services cloud environment
Ability to work effectively in customer-facing environments
Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience:

5 plus years of work experience in Technology or a related field
3 plus years of hands-on experience in data engineering
3 plus years of hands-on experience with Talend, Glue, and Lambda
3 plus years of experience with CDW and RedShift, Snowflake, or similar platforms
3 plus years of hands-on experience with cloud and hybrid environments
Travel or Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred

Pay Rate Range

53 - 60 USD hourly
