Job Purpose
The Sentiment Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting the emotional tone of conversations and mentions across various social media platforms. The insights provided will help guide brand strategy, inform content decisions, and support real-time reputation management.
Responsibilities/Duties

Analysis and Reporting

Monitor brand mentions and relevant conversations across platforms such as Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

Classify social media content by sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) using social listening tools or manual methods.

Identify emerging trends, public reactions, and sentiment shifts related to products, campaigns, competitors, or events.

Prepare weekly and monthly sentiment analysis reports with actionable recommendations.

Continuously track and evaluate competitors’ social media strategies to gain actionable insights.
Collaboration and Strategy

Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to provide real-time insights during product launches, crises, or high-impact campaigns.

Assist in evaluating campaign effectiveness by measuring changes in audience sentiment before, during, and after campaigns.

Stay up to date on social listening tools and platform-specific language nuances (e.g., emojis, slang, sarcasm).
Technical and Administrative

Build and maintain dashboards to visualize sentiment trends and social engagement metrics.

Handle other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Very good proficiency in both Arabic & English
Knowledge

Familiarity with social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Talkwalker, Meltwater).
Experience

0–3 years of experience in social media analytics, sentiment analysis, or digital marketing.
