About the Role

I am looking for a motivated SEO Assistant to support me with digital marketing and search engine optimization tasks. The focus will be on Local SEO, including Google Business Profile optimization, citations, and local keyword targeting.

Alongside SEO, you will also be introduced to WordPress basics. During the internship, you’ll learn how to manage websites, update content, and understand how SEO and WordPress work together.

You will start with a 3-month internship (training period). After that, you’ll move into a 2-month paid probation period, and based on your performance, you can continue as a full-time assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles (GBP)

Perform keyword research with a focus on local search

Help build and manage local citations and directory listings

Support in optimizing website content for SEO

Track and report rankings, traffic, and local search performance

Learn WordPress basics (website updates, plugins, themes) during the internship

Requirements

Basic knowledge of SEO concepts (keywords, meta tags, ranking factors)

Some understanding of Local SEO (GBP, local keywords, citations)

Familiarity with Google tools like Analytics or Search Console (a plus but not required)

Interest in learning WordPress alongside SEO

Must own a laptop for daily tasks

Should be able to work from home if required

Willingness to adjust and handle client change requests as part of the job

Strong willingness to learn and grow in digital marketing

Must be available to work onsite in Model Town, Lahore
