SEO Content writer

Experience Required: ~ 1 – 1.5 years

Role Overview:

• Write and publish SEO-friendly content (blogs, webpages, product descriptions, landing pages, FAQs, etc.)
• Work with SEO, marketing and design teams to align content with SEO goals and brand voice
• Own content tasks end-to-end: from research → writing → optimization → publishing → updates

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform keyword research (primary, secondary, long-tail) using appropriate tools
• Produce well-researched, engaging, high-quality content suited to user intent (informational, commercial, transactional) and brand tone
• Optimize content: proper keyword placement (title, headings, body), meta titles/descriptions, image alt-text, internal and external links
• Ensure content structure & readability: clear formatting, logical headings, user-friendly content flow
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, consistency with brand/style guidelines
• Analyze competitors’ content and identify content gaps or opportunities; suggest new topics or improvements
• Refresh and update existing content when needed — update information, improve SEO, enhance readability
• Maintain a content calendar or schedule for regular content publishing and updates
• Use analytics/SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics/Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs) to monitor content performance and optimize accordingly

Skills & Qualifications:

• Around 1 – 1.5 years of experience in content writing / SEO-content writing / copywriting
• Strong command of English: writing, editing, grammar, strong storytelling skills
• Good understanding of SEO basics, on-page SEO techniques, keyword research and content optimization
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and basic SEO/analytics tools
• Solid research skills — able to gather reliable information and write insightful content
• Good time-management: able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks/projects
• Good communication and collaboration — able to work with SEO, marketing, design teams to align content with strategy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
