SEO Content Writer / Copywriter (WordPress + Local SEO)

We’re hiring a SEO content writer/copywriter to create persuasive, search-optimized web content that drives leads. You’ll produce service pages, local/geo pages, landing pages, and blogs, and publish in WordPress.

What you’ll do

Research keywords & search intent; build briefs and outlines

Write and edit service pages, location pages, blogs, FAQs, meta titles/descriptions

Follow E-E-A-T best practices; ensure content is original and on-brand

Optimize headlines, internal linking, schema recommendations, image alt text

Publish in WordPress (Gutenberg or popular builders), format and interlink content

Track results in GA4/Search Console; iterate to improve CTR, rankings, and conversions

Collaborate with design/dev to align UX + SEO + conversion goals

Must-have qualifications

2+ years SEO content writing/copywriting for websites

WordPress publishing experience (blocks/builders, basic HTML formatting)

Working knowledge of on-page SEO (titles, H-tags, links, schema recs)

Strong grammar, clarity, and brand-voice control; plagiarism-free workflow

Familiar with GA4, Search Console, and an SEO plugin (Yoast/Rank Math)

Nice to have

Experience with local SEO (service-area pages, NAP consistency)

Basic Canva/Adobe for image crops and compression

Understanding of lead gen funnels and conversion copy

Success metrics (KPIs)

Consistent publishing cadence (e.g., 4–8 pages/posts per week)

Improvements in CTR, rankings, and organic leads

Clean WordPress formatting and internal linking standards
