Join us at OIP Orcawise Innovation Program, a 100-day research-based work experience program helping graduates and experienced legal professionals transition to a career in AI.

Orcawise is building the world’s first RAIMS™ (Responsible AI Management System) aligned with ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, and emerging governance standards.

We’re seeking talented legal minds to help us shape the knowledge engine that powers RAIMS RAG—a retrieval-augmented system that makes complex AI laws, policies, and standards accessible to real-world teams.

What You’ll Do

• Translate laws and policies (EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, etc.) into structured, explainable Q&A content
• Build modular legal knowledge chunks for RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines
• Draft plain-language answers to prompts like:
• “What are our Article 29 obligations for high-risk AI?”
• “How do we show human oversight under ISO Clause 8?”
• Label and tag content by risk tier, audience, regulation, and governance role
• Collaborate with legal engineers, prompt writers, and compliance leads

Ideal Profile

• Background in Law, Policy, Regulatory Affairs, or Compliance
• Familiarity with at least one of the following:
• EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO 42001, ISO 23894, NIST AI RMF
• Ability to write plain-language, high-precision summaries of legal text
• Interest in AI, LLMs, and Responsible Tech
• Bonus: experience with AI policy research, AI audits, or prompt engineering
