SEO Content Writer – Finance & Accounting

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented SEO Content Writer with strong knowledge of the finance and accounting domain. The ideal candidate will create clear, accurate, and engaging content that simplifies complex financial and accounting concepts for a wide audience. This role involves close collaboration with product, marketing, and subject-matter experts to produce high-quality, SEO-optimized content across multiple digital platforms.

A strong understanding of finance, accounting principles, and SEO best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and maintain high-quality content, including:
• SEO blogs, and long-form articles
• Finance and accounting guides
• Product and service pages
• FAQs and knowledge base content
• Translate complex finance and accounting concepts into clear, engaging, and user-friendly content.
• Conduct in-depth research on financial topics, accounting standards, industry trends, and competitor content.
• Optimize content for search engines using on-page SEO, and content structuring best practices.
• Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, terminology, and style across all content.
• Review and update existing content to improve clarity, accuracy, SEO performance, and engagement.
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple content projects simultaneously.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer, preferably in the finance or accounting niche.
• Strong knowledge of UK-based finance and accounting concepts (e.g., bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, compliance, financial reporting, SaaS finance tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword placement, content optimization naturally, in-depth research, and content strategy.
• Strong attention to detail, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with team

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience writing for fintech, accounting software, SaaS, or B2B finance products.
• Basic understanding of HTML, or content formatting best practices.
• Knowledge of content marketing strategies and conversion-focused writing.
• Experience using collaboration tools like Google Workspace and others.
