Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven SEO Content Writer with experience in construction, engineering, or B2B services content. The ideal candidate should understand how to create high-ranking, conversion-focused content specifically for the construction and estimating industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Write SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and website content related to:
• Cost estimating
• Construction estimating
• Quantity takeoffs
• Bidding & project management
• Perform keyword research (construction + estimating niche)
• Optimize content for on-page SEO (headings, meta descriptions, internal linking)
• Create service pages, landing pages, and guest posts targeting contractors and builders
• Translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand content
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and originality
• Follow content briefs and meet deadlines consistently

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong command of English writing and grammar
• Proven experience in SEO content writing (preferably construction niche)
• Understanding of construction terminology & estimating concepts
• Experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest
• Ability to write engaging, human-friendly, and plagiarism-free content
• Basic knowledge of WordPress (preferred)

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)

• Experience writing for construction companies or contractors
• Knowledge of takeoff software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Understanding of US/UK construction market trends
