About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the SEO Executive is responsible for driving organic visibility, optimizing website performance, and contributing to the organic inbound marketing strategy of both the holding and portfolio companies’ digital assets. This role requires the incumbent to have a good grip on technical SEO, both on-page & off-page, as well as content optimization skills to enhance search rankings, increase website traffic, and support generation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content strategy. Keep enriching the keyword database segmented for SEO efforts as well as search campaigns.
- Optimize on-page elements including meta data, content, internal and external linking, canonical tagging, URL structuring, schema data and page indexing.
- Off page SEO including guest posting, off page profile management, profile listing and backlinking management.
- Collaborate with content and web teams to implement SEO recommendations.
- Monitor site performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Conduct regular SEO audits and deliver actionable insights. Track ranking improvements and provide monthly reporting on KPIs.
- Identify technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexing, speed, mobile responsiveness) and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Implement schema markup, canonical tags, and manage redirects.
- Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
- 3 years of experience in SEO execution, strategy, or digital marketing. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and website architecture with clear concepts of online traffic management, recent policy updates by google and other search engines.
- Familiarity with GA4 (Google Analytics), along with Search Console, Keyword Planner and Google Tag Manger for data analysis, reporting, tagging and tracking.
- Good grip on SEO management tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog etc, for tracking of company owned published assets domain authority and ranking based on strategized keywords.
- Good project management skills to handle referral-links and back-links, active outreach for building with partners and tracking links on reputable platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Web Flow etc.
Nice to Have
- Experience optimizing B2B SaaS websites.
- Knowledge of international SEO and technical localization.
