Job Summary:
The SEO Executive will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase qualified traffic. This role requires hands-on experience with SEO tools, keyword strategies, content optimization, and technical SEO—ideally with prior experience in the travel or tourism domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular keyword research to identify opportunities in the travel niche.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, blogs, and metadata for search engines.
- Work closely with content and design teams to create SEO-friendly travel content.
- Conduct on-page, off-page, and technical SEO audits and implement fixes.
- Build high-quality backlinks through white-hat techniques (guest posting, outreach, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and algorithm updates in SEO and travel search behavior.
- Conduct competitor analysis and monitor keyword rankings and backlink profiles.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO recommendations related to site architecture, mobile optimization, page speed, etc.
- Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports and actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in the travel or hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles is a plus.
- Proven track record of increasing website traffic and rankings through SEO.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passion for travel and understanding of user search behavior in the travel space.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on international/multi-lingual websites.
- Understanding of local SEO for tour operators or travel agents.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO and travel video content optimization.
