Job Title: SEO / Media Buyer
Overview:
The SEO / Media Buyer is responsible for planning, purchasing, and optimizing advertising space across multiple media channels to effectively promote the company’s products and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Snapchat Ads, along with a solid understanding of SEO best practices to support a holistic and results-driven digital marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Research: Analyze market trends and research various media outlets to identify the most effective platforms for advertising.
- Media Planning: Develop strategic media plans aligned with marketing goals and target audiences, ensuring the optimal media mix for maximum reach and impact.
- Platform Expertise: Manage and optimize paid campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Snapchat Ads to meet performance objectives and KPIs.
- SEO Support: Collaborate with content and web teams to align paid strategies with SEO initiatives, enhancing overall digital visibility.
- Negotiation: Negotiate rates, contracts, and placements with media vendors to secure competitive deals and value.
- Budget Management: Allocate and track advertising budgets across different media channels, ensuring cost-effectiveness and budget compliance.
- Campaign Management: Oversee campaign execution, monitor performance, and implement optimizations for improved ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign results using analytics tools, generate insights, and prepare reports to inform future strategies.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners while staying up to date on emerging opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure all advertising activities comply with industry standards, platform policies, and company guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, and content teams to align media buying and SEO strategies with broader marketing objectives.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage media buying software, analytics platforms, and automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Media Buyer or in a similar digital marketing role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Snapchat Ads (required).
- Working knowledge of SEO strategies and tools is a strong plus.
- Excellent understanding of media buying principles, negotiation, and optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in media buying and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing and advertising trends.
