Job Title: SEO Executive
Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Executive with a strong focus on content-led SEO, onsite optimization, and technical SEO. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, can work comfortably with advanced SEO tools, and knows how to translate data into actionable insights that drive organic growth. This role requires someone who can collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to improve rankings, traffic quality, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Content & Onsite SEO
- Plan and execute content-driven SEO strategies aligned with business goals
- Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, and content gap analysis
- Optimize website content, landing pages, blogs, and category pages for SEO
- Ensure correct use of on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema, etc.)
- Work closely with content writers to provide SEO briefs and optimization guidelines
Technical SEO
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and implement fixes
- Identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and structured data
- Work with developers to implement SEO best practices (canonical tags, redirects, hreflang, pagination, etc.)
- Monitor and manage XML sitemaps and robots.txt
Tools, Analysis & Reporting
- Use advanced SEO tools to monitor performance and identify opportunities
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and technical health
- Analyze competitor SEO strategies and industry trends
- Prepare clear, actionable SEO reports for internal stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience :
- 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (content + onsite + technical)
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Advanced experience with SEO tools such as: ○ Google Search Console, Google Analytics / GA4 ○ Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb (or similar)
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS basics, and how websites are built
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
- Ability to interpret data and turn insights into SEO actions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with schema markup and log file analysis
- Understanding of JavaScript SEO
- Familiarity with CRO and UX principles
- Experience in competitive or large-scale websites
