Position: SEO Expert (Remote)

Experience Required: 2–3 Years Location: Remote Type: Full-time / Long-term

About the Role:

We’re looking for a results-driven SEO Expert who understands how to plan, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO campaigns for tools-based and service-based websites. The ideal person should have a proven record of boosting rankings, driving organic traffic, and improving overall website visibility through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

You’ll work directly with our content, design, and development teams to build strategies that align with our business goals and outperform competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research & Strategy Development

  • Conduct deep keyword research and identify content gaps using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies, backlink profiles, and keyword rankings to create action plans.
  • Develop a custom SEO roadmap aligned with website goals and audience intent.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and implement best practices accordingly.

2. On-Page SEO

  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers (H1-H6), and internal linking.
  • Ensure URL structures, site hierarchy, and content readability meet SEO standards.
  • Perform content audits, identify duplicate or thin content, and recommend improvements.
  • Implement schema markup, rich snippets, and structured data for better search appearance.
  • Collaborate with the content team to optimize blogs, landing pages, and service pages for SEO.

3. Off-Page SEO

  • Develop and manage link-building campaigns (guest posts, niche edits, resource links).
  • Build high-quality backlinks from relevant and authoritative websites.
  • Manage brand mentions, citations, and outreach efforts for better domain authority.
  • Monitor backlink profiles and disavow toxic links when necessary.

4. Technical SEO

  • Conduct site audits to identify technical issues affecting crawlability and indexability.
  • Work on page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and core web vitals.
  • Fix broken links, redirects, canonicalization, and duplicate content issues.
  • Ensure XML sitemaps and robots.txt are properly configured.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve technical performance and site health.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and user behavior through Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Prepare monthly SEO reports highlighting key metrics, improvements, and next-step strategies.
  • Measure the ROI of SEO campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in SEO (preferably for tools-based or service-based sites)
  • Deep understanding of Google’s search algorithms and ranking factors
  • Proficiency in SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • Experience working with WordPress, Shopify, or custom CMS platforms
  • Ability to plan and execute end-to-end SEO campaigns independently

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):

  • Experience with SaaS, B2B, or international SEO
  • Knowledge of content marketing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO improvements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
