SEO Expert

Digital Phantom is a growing digital marketing agency serving clients across Canada, the United States, and other international markets. We specialize in delivering results-driven digital marketing solutions, including SEO, paid advertising, web development, content marketing, and lead generation.

We are looking for an experienced SEO Expert to join our remote team and help drive organic growth for our international clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for client websites.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis.
• Perform on-page SEO optimization, including content recommendations, metadata, internal linking, and technical improvements.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
• Build and execute ethical link-building campaigns.
• Collaborate with content writers, web developers, and marketing teams to improve search rankings.
• Track, analyze, and report SEO performance metrics.
• Stay up to date with the latest search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of proven SEO experience working with international clients, particularly in North American markets.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and similar platforms.
• Knowledge of website CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website development concepts.
• Experience conducting SEO audits and implementing recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Canadian and U.S.-based businesses.
• Knowledge of local SEO strategies.
• Experience with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and advanced technical SEO.
• Understanding of content marketing and conversion optimization.

• Candidates must be comfortable working according to Canadian and U.S. business hours.
