Role Purpose

Own organic growth across A1J.com’s ecosystem (a1jewellers.com, a1 mint.com, marketplace sub-stores, The Sunaar, YouTube). You will lead technical audits, content strategy, and on-page optimisation to increase qualified traffic and revenue in a dynamic-pricing jewellery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run full technical audits: crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, redirects, hreflang, canonical strategy, robots, XML sitemaps.
  • Build keyword universe and content map for 22ct jewellery (rings, chains, bangles, necklace sets, pre-owned, bullion).
  • Deliver on-page optimisation at scale (meta, internal linking, headings, PDP copy frameworks) and collaborate on CRO with Design/Dev.
  • Implement and QA structured data (Product, Organisation, FAQ, VideoObject, Review).
  • Own GA4/GSC insights; define organic KPIs and dashboards.
  • Coordinate digital PR/backlink outreach aligned to brand values and seasonal calendars (Eid/Diwali/editorial features).
  • Partner with Dev on SEO-safe releases (pagination, filters/facets, JavaScript rendering, Varnish/caching implications, dynamic pricing).
  • Align YouTube SEO (titles, descriptions, chapters, thumbnails) with site content.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO in e-commerce at scale.
  • Strong technical SEO (CWV, log-file insights, JS SEO) and on-page/content strategy.
  • Proficiency with GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker/Data Studio.
  • Experience collaborating with developers (tickets/specs, staging QA).
  • Evidence of moving the needle on traffic, rankings, and revenue.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketplaces or multi-store architectures.
  • Familiarity with Laravel/WordPress stacks and tag management (GTM vs gtag).
  • Knowledge of international SEO and localised campaigns.

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

  • Technical debt register with prioritised backlog and fixes in flight.
  • +20–30% non-brand organic sessions on priority categories (baseline dependent).
  • Improved CWV pass rates and index coverage; reduction in duplicate/faceted indexation.
