We are seeking a highly skilled, data-driven SEO expert to develop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of driving significant organic traffic growth, improving search rankings, and enhancing overall online visibility. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, exceptional analytical abilities, and proven experience in managing complex SEO projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of innovative, long-term SEO strategies across all digital platforms.
- Technical SEO Mastery: Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits, diagnose issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and implement actionable solutions in collaboration with the web development team.
- Keyword & Content Strategy: Perform advanced keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to develop and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content that addresses user intent.
- Link Building & Off-Page SEO: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies and digital PR initiatives to build domain authority and acquire quality backlinks.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor, track, and analyze key SEO metrics (organic traffic, rankings, conversion rates, Core Web Vitals, etc.) using industry-leading tools. Provide clear, actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.
- Algorithm Expertise & Trends: Stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving SEO landscape, including search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with content creators, developers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives and align with broader marketing goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO implementation.
- Tool Expertise: Proficiency with essential SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and managing client relationships if in an agency setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education/Certifications: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant SEO certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) are a plus.
- Experience: Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and managing large-scale SEO projects.
- Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or Drupal.
