Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will assist in improving website visibility on search engines through keyword research, on-page optimization, content support, and performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn practical SEO skills in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research using SEO tools (Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.)
• Assist with on-page SEO activities including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization
• Support content teams with SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and web copy
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Assist in technical SEO audits (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing issues)
• Research competitors and industry trends
• Help build backlinks through ethical off-page SEO techniques
• Prepare basic SEO reports and insights

Requirements

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEO tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Understanding of content marketing and blogging
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
