We are currently seeking a passionate and career-focused SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is designed for individuals who want to develop hands-on expertise in Search Engine Optimization and digital marketing while working on real client projects.

Position Overview

As an SEO Intern, you will assist our marketing team in improving website visibility, organic traffic, keyword rankings, and overall search engine performance. You will gain practical experience in on-page SEO, technical SEO, content optimization, link building, competitor analysis, reporting, and SEO strategy implementation.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, final-year students, or individuals looking to build a professional career in digital marketing and search engine optimization.

Key Responsibilities On-Page SEO

• Perform keyword research using industry-standard SEO tools.
• Optimize website pages, meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, and content.
• Assist in improving website structure and internal linking.
• Analyze keyword opportunities and content gaps.
• Optimize images, URLs, and other on-page SEO elements.

Technical SEO

• Support website audits and technical SEO assessments.
• Identify and report crawl errors, indexing issues, and broken links.
• Assist in website speed optimization initiatives.
• Monitor website health using Google Search Console and other SEO tools.
• Help implement SEO best practices for website performance.

Content Optimization

• Conduct content audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist content writers with SEO-friendly content recommendations.
• Optimize existing content for better search engine visibility.
• Research trending topics and keyword opportunities.

Off-Page SEO

• Support backlink research and outreach activities.
• Assist with directory submissions and citation building.
• Monitor backlink profiles and competitor backlink strategies.
• Participate in link-building campaigns under supervision.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track keyword rankings and website performance.
• Monitor organic traffic and user engagement metrics.
• Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
• Analyze competitor SEO strategies and market trends.

Learning & Development

• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.
• Learn and apply industry best practices across various projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
