SEO Intern (Unpaid Internship)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and fresh graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content optimization, keyword research, and website performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Support on-page SEO activities, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content optimization.
• Conduct website audits and identify SEO improvement opportunities.
• Assist in creating and optimizing SEO-friendly content.
• Monitor website rankings and performance using SEO tools.
• Support backlink research and off-page SEO activities.
• Prepare basic SEO reports and performance summaries.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams on SEO-related tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google Search, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Understanding of keyword research tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
• Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HTML and website structure is an advantage.
